Présentation

I am team leader of PHOTERA group at IES-CNRS Institute, within the Photonics & waves Department. Research topics cover a broad electromagnetic spectrum, from microwaves to photonics, including the THz domain. The team’s expertise is based on both device physics and technology, as well as the physical study of electromagnetic field emission and functional applications through high-performance OPTO-HYPER instrumentation. My research activity has focused on the technological development and the study of physical properties of advanced sources emitting coherent 3D structured electromagnetic waves in the field of photonics and THz for innovative applications. This research is of both of fundamental and applied interest, with a civil and security-defense societal impact (RADAR, LIDAR, Telecoms, detection, environment, etc.). This research is based on the progress and development of III-V semiconductor nanotechnologies, diffractive and guided optics technologies, and advanced microwave and THz technologies. I manage a technological transfer of VECSEL components with industrial partners. H-factor 32
