Introduction
PHOTERA is a research team at the IES-CNRS Institute within the Photonics Department. Our research covers a broad electromagnetic spectrum, ranging from microwaves to photonics, including the THz range. The team’s expertise is grounded in both physics and device technology, as well as in the physical study of electromagnetic field emission and functional applications using high-performance OPTO-HYPER instrumentation.
Research activities include :
Coherent structured electromagnetic wave sources: Semiconductor lasers and Opto-THz sources based on III-V nanotechnologies.Design and fabrication of advanced antennas and microwave systems for applied applications.
